I’m not the kind of trainer who runs his clients through the same tired routine. Every individual I train receives a personalized training program tailored to their specific goals and needs. You’re the one who knows what you want to work on and your program will always have your goals at its core. Every step of the training program is explained to you so you’re confident you have the knowledge to make lasting lifestyle changes.

COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

Your personalized training program is crafted from information gathered during your fitness assessment and health and fitness history so that it is specific to you. You don’t have to worry if exercises or progressions are unsafe because they have been chosen specifically for your needs. I truly love instructing and teaching proper form because doing exercises correctly always results in them getting the results they want in the most efficient manner possible.

✔ MOTIVATION

I can’t say it enough: I love motivating people to get fit! I push you to get the results you want and force you to continually challenge your limits. It may seem daunting at first, but you will never regret pushing yourself to do better. Don’t believe having a motivator is important? A study in the Journal of Clinical Psychology found only 8% of individuals who resolve to get in shape continue to adhere to an exercise program one year later. Motivation is so important and I’m here to keep you going strong!

NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE

You wouldn’t try and build a nice new house without proper materials, would you? Nutrition is key to reaching any fitness-related goal and never something I take for granted. I offer 24/7 nutritional support via text or e-mail so that I am always available to answer your questions. I also set my clients up with MyFitnessPal, the best free online food journal service on the net. You get everything you need to make lasting and sustainable dietary changes.

The best marketing resource for a personal trainer is satisfied customers. If you refer your friends or family members and they sign up for a session package, you get free sessions in return! WELL-ROUNDED

I take great pride in having worked with different populations of personal training clients from teenagers to seniors. Some of my clients’ goals have included fat loss, gaining strength, muscular gains, cardiovascular conditioning and even disease prevention. Lastly, my university education in kinesiology has provided me a base of knowledge that I use every day training my clients. I feel knowing how and why things work from a physiological standpoint gives me a definite advantage over many other personal trainers.

UNDERSTANDING

I want people to know that I understand how it feels to be out of shape and unsure of how to exact change. Before my own transformation, I was nonathletic, unmotivated and overweight myself. Even in my youth, I had no great athletic background whatsoever. Trust me when I say, if I can get motivated to make changes and get in shape, you certainly can too.

CONSTANTLY IMPROVING

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know everything. If a personal trainer tells you they know it all and can help every client, they aren’t telling you the truth. What I can promise is that if I don’t know the answer to something you ask, I will research on your behalf or refer you to someone who can help you. As a personal trainer I’m constantly striving for knowledge and new ways to help my clients reach their goals. With the help of Canadian Fitness Professionals, I add new training skills and methods to my credentials every year through continuing education programs.
